The steering wheel in my car looked like it was on it's last leg after 21 years of use and UV damage. I decided to purchase a kit from AGLA for $45.70 delivered. It took 5 weeks and 4 phone calls to finally get the merchandise delivered. They blamed the delay on the post office, but the real reason was because they forgot to put my apartment number on the label. Anyway here's the story below.

Here's the before shot. The pic does it to much justice. The area around top of the wheel was totally dry rotted, the majority of it was brittle and cracked, lastly the area above the left thumb place was becoming unraveled.

Here's the 2 pieces of leather on the left is the new and on the right is the old.

Completed after 7.5 hours
A few words of caution. Don't do this unless you have a lot of patience. Don't get in a hurry. I got in a hurry and lost my needle. It's somewhere in floor of my bed room. The needle they send is big, fat, and blunt. I assume the reason they send such a blunt needle is so you will not poke any extra holes in the cow hide. I replaced my needle with a pointed big, fat one from Wal-Mart for less then $1. I also bought a thimble for another $1. I highly recommend using one. I used a little super glue to hold the ends down after I finished. Unfortunately as I sowed up the last spoke I realized that the leather was not going to fit properly. So after 7.5 hours, I have a nice wheel but it's not perfect that's to AGLA for a flawed piece of cow skin.
I'd like to thank all the people who took some time to sow a few stitches, most of all I'd like to thank my mom for the time she spent and for tying all the knots.
